QA Engineer - Automation/Selenium - Freelance/Contract
Leading Media Company is looking for a Senior Quality assurance engineer. With offices in the picturesque state of Thüringen, it is a lovely working environment.
This is a 6 month contract!
Responsibilities:
- Optimization and further development of existing manual test scenarios
- Introduction and further development of automated tests
- Quality assurance of new features
- Responsibility of the error reports to our development team
- contributing to the quality assurance processes on test and live systems
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage of unit tests
- Perform code reviews in Java
- Report and track defects in the JIRA defect tracking system
Qualifications:
- 5 years experience as a QA Engineer with experience of testing through the full life cycle on web based applications
- 2 years working in a Senior capacity
- Experience in planning, developing and collaborating on test automation frameworks
- Ability to work well within an international team
- Solid knowledge of various QA methodologies
- Strong familiarity with testing Java applications
- Previous experience using Selenium
- Computer Science or Engineering degree
- Intermediate German as a minimum (B1)
