Site Design Manager/Bauleiter - Telecoms - Berlin, Germany
Site Design Manager/Bauleiter - is required for a 2-3 year contract working for a global telecoms vendor based in Berlin. We are looking for an experienced Site Design manager to provide a site engineering process and BOQ, standardize and simplify the site design procedure, minimise the cost of SE and participate in the negotiation/bidding of subcontracts.
You will be responsible for:
- Reviewing and approving proposals for towers, monopoles, antenna mounting structures,
- Simplify and reduce costs
- Check site specific structural design analysis from subcontractors
- Review and approve the design and material list (BOQ, Bill of the quantity) of the tower reinforcement and minimise the construction cost of the tower reinforcement
- Understand the local conditions/environment
- Ensure that designs are compliant with H&S requirements
Requirements:
- Fluent in German and English
- Qualified engineer with a degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- Site design experience within telecoms
- Proficient in survey tools
- Familiar with the industrial standard of the steel structure in the telecoms industry (in Germany)
- Extensive experience in concrete or reinforced concrete of tower foundation, familiar with electrical design according to the local standard
