Beschreibung

This position will be a new position in the new structure after the reorganization in Service Management: Mission Critical Services, Department: DCS/Airport IT.

Manage the day-to-day operations, drive team performance and people development, within the given guidance, standards, processes and targets and based on customer needs.

In particular you are end-to-end responsible for the Customer Management Service ensuring highest stability, availability and robustness of the application, database and OS infrastructure environment to meet customer expectations.

You are managing a local and remote team to achieve team and department objectives and to reach or exceed company KPIs. Drive and execute continuous improvement initiatives. Apply management best practices to maintain and improve your team's engagement and work performance.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Drive full set of people management activities.
  • Understand customers (internal/external) needs and translate them into services.
  • Service availability.
    • Support operational activities, incident and problem management processes.
    • Drive continuous improvement of the incident and problem management process.
    • Ensure and verify fault tolerance and DR capability.
  • Service transition.
    • Ensure the safe and timely propagation of changes into test and production environments.
    • Deliver on project objectives.
    • Drive the continuous improvement of the change and release management process.
  • Service design and Operability.
    • Fault tolerance & recoverability
    • Compliancy & audit support
    • Non-functional requirements and Operational Criteria Support
  • Capacity Management.
    • Ensure adequate capacity to run applications in scope
    • Ensure availability and integrity of performance and capacity related data
    • Ensure a good understanding of application behavior in regard to capacity; ensure required adaptions in hard- and/or software being progressed.
  • Support progress of Factory Operations goals.
    • Full standardization and automation of incident detection, diagnosis and recovery
    • Full standardization and automation of the change and release management process
    • Ensure compliancy requirements built into automated processes and tooling
