Project Manager VoLTE/IMS - VoWifi - RCS - 4G - 5G - IoT Interconnections Project Manager - £500 a day
Interconnections & Roaming IP communications, IP interconnections - LTE - Voice Over - Rich Communication - Coversational video and messaging - VoLTE/IMS - VoWifi - RCS - 4G - 5G - IoT - smartphones, smartliving - MNO - Mobile Operator.
Location: Bonn, Germany
6 month contract with option of renewal for further 6 months depending on performance.
Fluent German/English required
Working with operators who have launched VoLTE and/or RCS to deliver technical and commercial interconnection launch.
Aim of role:
Support the VoLTE/RCS interconnection project in Germany through its delivery life cycle with onsite facilitation, project management and technical expertise, implementation guidelines, best practice and technical specifications.
Report on operator engagement for interconnection and progress.
Support development of commercial guidelines and best practice implementation documents to streamline the time taken for operators to implement IP Communications services interconnection.
Increase knowledge base with issues and solution to enhance and speed up interconnections.
Work with marketing team and ensure that the knowledge gained and lessons learned are included within the digital learning channel.
Responsibilities:
Project support.
Ensure efficient processes are in place for monitoring/tracking progress
Provide relevant and timely updates on progress, risks and issues.
Work with the team to organise meetings and prepare updates and follow-ups.
Manage aspects of communication related to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintenance of the end to end project plan.
Weekly reporting of progress.
Requirements:
5 + years experience within a mobile operator of establishing and managing complex multinational, multi-functional programmes/projects.
Successful delivery of end to end (ie technical and commercial) interconnection, interoperability initiatives between operators.
Delivering success in fast changing environments with clear evidence of personal involvement in complex issues.
Evidence of leadership and influence of operators to programme objectives.
A relationship builder.
Strong analytical skills.
A team player with experience of working in a consultative and facilitative environment.
