Aufgabe:DP DHL Business Unit PeP (PeP) migrate their End User desktop and infrastructure services from external third-party provider to the internal IT provider DHL IT Services (ITS). All required activities are summarized under the umbrella of GPWS@PeP program.
Within the GPWS@PeP program the work stream Service Processes is responsible for the delivery of a set of interfaces, which connect PeP and Provider tools with the ITS tool landscape to enable the integrated delivery of desktop and infrastructure services to PeP. This includes the delivery of consolidated data regarding Orders, Assets and Invoicing for Service Management purposes to PeP and ITS (at both operations and strategic level).
- Design a BI Solution, which ensures a consolidated view across PeP, ITS, Provider on Service Mgt. data for desktop and infrastructure services covering Order, Asset and Invoicing data.
- Design and support the implementation of a short term solution using existing data feeds
- Design a Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing Strategy for Service Management at ITS for PeP (mid-term) and across multiple DPDHL Business Units (longer-term)
Anforderung:
- In depth knowledge of Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing technologies and industry standards
- In depth knowledge of Database Structures and SQL Logic. Hands-on experience with the setup of DB solutions
- In depth knowledge of Windows Server(s) in a large distributed network but centrally managed where possible
- In depth knowledge of Windows Desktops back-end environments, since key components for the desktop are affected, such as MDS, File and Print,App-V, Altiris, SEP and Business Applications
- In depth knowledge of file and print infrastructure and migration
- Knowledge of Storage (replication) and Back-up systems such as NetApp or EMC, Virtualization technologies such as VMware and Networking
- Experience with DP DHL deployment and OAT process
- Large scale global Windows migration programs
- Technical project lead capabilities proven in a global organization
- Fluent in English and German
