This is an urgent requirement to work for one of the worlds leading telecommunications vendors in Munster, Germany. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a long term project. The ideal candidate will have strong customer facing experience as the role will take on a Principle Network Consultant role onsite with the end-customer. The consultants functions, will include Architecture (planning/design), troubleshooting, optimization and onsite support.
Skill Summary:
Verifiable experience with large Service Provider network projects (design and/or integration)
Customer environment knowledge
CCIE R&S or SP at least 3 years
JNCIE preferred but not required
Over 5 years of practical experience in Service Provider networks (IP, MPLS, L3VPN)
Fluent in German, speaking and writing
Strong knowledge in the following areas on Cisco & Juniper Routers: IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Optical, MPLS & L3VPN, WAN protocols, IP Routing protocols (ISIS, BGP, LDP), QoS, Cisco GSR, CRS & ASR Routers), IOS & IOS XR, Juniper M320 & MX Routers, JunOS).
Advanced troubleshooting skills in above areas
Knowledge and experience in lab testing with Cisco and Juniper devices and traffic generators (Agilent, IXIA)
Strong experience with Internet-Peering- and Route-Reflector-Design
Network design skills
Ability to travel and to work at customers location
Good communication and consulting skills.
