We are currently recruiting for a Analog / Mixed signal engineer for one of our multi-national clients. The role in more detail is as follows:- Generate Layouts for Analog/Mixed Signal ICs
- Layout Verification (DRC, LVS)
- Floorplaning, toplevel routing
- Backend support to prepare ICs for tape out
Basic Qualifications:
- University Degree in electrical engineering or vocational education as technician with professional experience in IC layout
- At least five years experience in analog/mixed signal layout
- Knowledge of EDA Layout Tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Encounter, Assura etc)
- Basic Knowledge in semiconductor technology
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- ESD and Electromigration aware layout (incl. knowledge of the technical reasons for these failure mechanisms)
- High Voltage/High Current (<=5 Amp) layout skills
- Familiar with setup and usage of Cadence VSR (Virtuos Space Based Mixed signal router)
- Basic knowledge of Cadence Skill programming and UNIX
