Tangent International are currently looking for a System Integration Leader to work in Western Europe on an extendable assignment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Software loading, configuration, integration, verification, and troubleshooting of existing solutions on a customer site or in a lab environment using customer products, 3rd party, or customized packages.
Provide ongoing customer support throughout implementation.
Attend and participate in customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
Lead the investigation and isolation of unique and challenging problems, collaborate with product development teams and other support groups to devise a plan for resolution that meets the customer's needs.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, both external and internal customers.
Delivery of support within predefined service level agreement.
Define methods and process to lead both customers and internal resources through technical issue deconstruction and analysis.
Report software bugs to product groups. Advise on potential software improvements during the design and pre-release process.
Candidate Skills and Requirements
English fluency both verbal and writing is essential, German language is a bonus
Previous IPTV solution technical experience is desirable
Works effectively in situations involving uncertainty, change, or lack of information.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Self-starter with ability and ambition to work remotely, onsite with a specific customer for extended or dedicated periods of time.
Ability to work across groups by setting mutual goals, ensuring clarity of roles, and working together in ways which enhance business effectiveness
BS or MS in EE, CS, or CE or acceptable equivalent of post secondary education and experience
2 - 3 years previous experience working in software design, testing and integration
Strong knowledge of IP Networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius)
Strong knowledge of network management and provisioning (XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP).
Good knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols required
Installation and configuration of Servers, Routers, and Switches highly desired.
Security and Authentication experience also highly desired
Past Experience working with IPTV solutions; MPEG-4 and DRM standards desired; TV Distribution and Switching
Solid working knowledge of Databases such as MySQL and Oracle desired
