System Administrator for Innovation & New Technologies Unit
Tasks:
Responsibility for the operation of an internal server infrastructure (x86) and System Administration Unit within the Innovation & New Technologies
Installation and configuration of software and hardware on Servers and workstations in the Technology-Research environment
Reinstall, repair and replacement of defective hardware
Assistance in selecting and purchasing new systems
Planning and administration of infrastructure Servers and directory services (such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP or LDAP)
Support for all employees in the department
Documentation
Support for technology projects
Qualifications/Skills:
In-depth knowledge and experience in:
Several years of experience in the administration of Windows (Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server), Active Directory) and Linux (RedHat or CentOS) environments
Good knowledge of networks (VLAN) and its Protocols
Experience in virtual environments, especially in VMware (ESX) infrastructures
Desirable skills and experience in:
Scripting on Linux
Experience with databases (eg PostgreSQL)
