Position: Network Engineer (IPoDWDM)

Location: Germany (or remote working)

Contract: 6-12 Extendable
Requirements:

Euro Timezone
Occasional travel to customer meetings
Work with customer specific processes
Produce customer specific deliverables
Initiate and track resolution of software defects
Strong knowledge on internal support and escalation processes (TAC, BU, AT)
Escalation handling
Work customer facing
Self organized
German (Preferred)
Technical Skills:
ONS15454MSTP (WSON, ROADM)
Cisco Transport Planner
Cisco Prime Optical
Network Management: RHEL, HA (RH Cluster + Oracle DG)
CRS: DWDM PLIM, IOS-XR support for DWDM/WSON, Virtual Transponder, Management integration into ONS
Optional: TL-1, automating ONS tasks with TL-1, Scripting with PERL or other common Scripting language
