We are searching for a skilled individual with experience in the fields of Big Data, Machine Learning and Data Mining to develop and implement professional Data Platforms based on our advanced in-house technology to join our business inteligence team in Berlin.
Suscessful candidates will be experienced in these areas and familiar with tools such as Python, Metlab, R and Oracle database as well as experience with processing tools such as HADOOP, HIVE and Spark. They will also hold a Masters or equivalent in the fields of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Experimental science.
As a Data scientist you will be working as a part of one of the leading brands in software development informing management through the creation and development of cutting edge algorithams to analyse the large amounts of Data being generated through add campaigns and consumer surverys.
Using this data we aim to create a system that can analyse the actions and preferances of our customers helping to better predict consumer habits and pre-empt demands in the market. How to maximise exposure and to take advantage of current trends, dealing with rapidly changing date all in Real Time.

Requirements
- A good level of English both spoken and written is required.
- German of any level is a plus.
- Masters degree or equivalent in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science or Experimental science.
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Cassandra.
- Experience with Python, Matlab or R
- Able to understand and analyses large chunks of data in a efficent and effective way.
- Able to effectively time manage independently.
- A background in Statistics is not required but it is a plus to have experience in one of these area: signal processing, pattern recognition, data mining, big data, computer modelling
- Above all a creative mindset is a must as this is a role to create new technologies in a rapidly growing and developing field.
