I am currently working with one of my key clients' who are looking for a Database Consultant for Database Automation.

Key Requirement: All Rounder with 3/4 years' experience
Language: English
Location: Dresden, Germany
Contract: 6 months (with renewal option)
Start date: Beginning June

Brief project description
Bash Scripting for Database Automation scope of work:
* Creation and maintenance of bash scripts
* Automation of database related processes like install/uninstall, patch/upgrade, compliance checks and more
* Documentation of scripts
* Presentation in knowledge transfer sessions
* Excellent knowledge in bash Scripting
* Excellent Linux knowledge (SLES, RHEL)
* Familiar with the fundamentals of process automation
* Familiar with source code management systems (preferably Git)
* Experiences with database systems (preferably ASE, Hana and MySQL)
* Experiences with unit testing methods
