Job Description for Wind Electrical Engineer:
Execute project specific electrical engineering design work on wind turbine el. components.
Definition of component requirements, technical clarification, interface definition, testing, introduction into manufacturing and issue resolution.
Creation and control of technical documentation for components and assemblies, including specifications, bills of material, drawings and schematics.
Ensure compliance to international codes and standards like IEC, UL, CSA, ISO, CE, CCC, etc.
Work with global and cross-functional teams to leverage Best Practice' for electrical component design, testing and validation.
Work closely with the Technical Leaders and global team members to ensure high quality and on-time delivery for engineering assignments.
Required Skills & Experience for Wind Electrical Engineer:
Certified Engineer, BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience of electrical components, applications and practices.
Proven knowledge of international codes and standards like IEC, UL, CSA, NEC.
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
Fluent in English language (spoken and written)
Desired Skills for Wind Electrical Engineer:
Need to be proficient with MS Office tools
Proven experience in power cable and control cable design and application.
Possess a deep foundation in electrical systems.
Innovative, creative, curious, motivated, determined.
Wind turbine electrical system knowledge and/or design experience.
Strong analytical approach to problem solving.
German language skills
