Tätigkeit:For one of our clients from the banking sector we are looking for a quality assurance and testing engineer (m/f) to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that applications meeting business requirements and maintain the client's high quality standards. The specific tasks include: conducing a proof of concept using technical tools and evaluating ROI and feasibility studies, creating best of breed framework/harness for automation/performance testing, analyzing system requirements and designing suitable automation/performance test strategies, testing effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data, providing vision and direction, championing activities and establishing best practices, working to implement best of breed test practices and processes, owning user acceptance test activities, championing business requirement reviews and extracting them into test requirements, creating test data, writing and owning test cases, tailoring process/frameworks aligned to business areas need to ensure leverage increased test efficiency, analyzing test process deficiencies for improvement, documenting test summary and provision of product improvement suggestions and communicating the results, training/mentoring existing projects teams, ensuring conformance to defined test processes as well as re-use of shared enterprise assets, ownership of some testing activities at a program level and managing key stakeholder expectations and delivering against agreed standards. The following skills and experiences are required: Proven experience in testing roles and/or leading testing teams, technology knowledge and expertise, proven experience of industry standard test tools, experience of defining and implementing tool strategy, experience of defining and managing tool frameworks, proven experience of defining and implementing technical test strategies, proven experience defining and delivering training in technical tools, customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources and clients, performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results, previous program and project management experience, proven experience with risk management and control policies and procedures and proactively initiates, develops and maintains effective working relationships with team members, Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people and achieve results, ability to proactively initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, demonstrated ability to work with a variety of people and achieve results, ability to influence and indirectly lead / provide thought leadership, Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with an IT-related concentration (or equivalent diploma/work experience) and participation and/or completion in testing certification programs (Six Sigma, CSTE, ISTQB, ISEB, CSTP or tool specific certifications).
