Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
für unseren Endkunden mit Sitz in Essen suchen wir ab 11.05.15 externe Unterstützung im Bereich Non-SAP BW Application Support.
Aufgabe:
• Ensuring quality, performance, and security of database design of ECT’s own developments.
• Undertaking day-to-day database administration activities to support the projects.
• Providing advice and support for IS projects regarding all aspects of database development.
• Ability to work with relational, NoSQL, and time series technologies
• Assisting with the set-up of frameworks for the ECT database service
• Undertaking ad hoc operational support tasks for pre-production environments
• Design and implementation support of database solutions with all project teams
• Setting up quality assurance processes for database development
• Migration of data sets to support new application demands
• Work directly with developers in SCRUM methodology
Soft Skills:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Business Fluent in English
Fachskills:
• University degree in Information Technology, Software Development, Engineering or long term experience in the requested fields.
• Proficiency in database design, implementation, administration, and performance optimization
• Strategic and detail understanding of major database products
o Time Series Data bases, like OpenTSBD or cassandra
o Open source systems such as Postgres and MySQL.
o Oracle technology and MS SQL Server technology.
• Knowledge in logical and physical database design and data modeling
• Experience of data warehouse design principles
• Ability to solve systems and process issues
• Familiarity with configuration management and software release procedures
• Appreciation of general technical concepts (e.g. Networking protocols, Windows and Linux server products, Back-up and recovery, Storage, IT Security)
