Sperry Partners Group is urgently looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer for an new Application Design Development project in Hannover, Germany.
Description:
We are looking for a senior .NET Developer to provide technical solutions to challenging problems in a fast paced, dynamic, and exciting environment. The Senior .NET developer will help with the development of a cloud based Line of Business applications to support our client's growing portfolio solution offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Leader in German location (Hanover), coordinating two development teams in Kiev
- Design & develop line of business applications to support client initiatives
- Work with other developers (in Kiev) in the team through the design, implementation, documentation, and maintenance phase of projects
- Write high quality code that is well tested and is maintainable by others
- Perform Code Reviews
- Design new and leverage existing test automation infrastructure
Requirements:
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- Entity Framework
- SQL
- Javascript
- JQuery
- 4 to 7 years of recent development experience in TDD-based environments
- 3+ years' experience with C# (.Net ) ASP.NET MVC, WCF, SQL, Azure, and Entity Framework
- Proven ability to collaborate and function within a dispersed team, eg a real self-starter
- 5+ years of application development experience
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong development, troubleshooting/problem isolation and debugging skills
- Solid skills working on Front End web (ASP.NET MVC), web services (WCF/REST API), and database systems (SQL Server)
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent job experience
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- Be driven and positive, with the ability to thrive and deliver in a fast-paced, innovative and creative environment
- Experience with Agile and SCRUM methodology
- Experience with .Net, C#, SQL, Azure, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework
- Passion for technology
NICE TO HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with build automation and continuous integration
- Experience with testing tools & methodologies (Test Driven Development)
- Comfortable working with business owners & product managers to gather requirements and propose technical solutions
- Financial industry experience preferred
- Experience with BDD and Specflow
