Tasks:
oThe scope of the mission is:
Backfilling an internal employee with the following tasks:
oattending meetings with clients and internal
oEngineer, analyse and translate business requirements into technical infrastructure solutions
oDesign and scope solutions for local, regional and global projects taking into account the client's strategy and market best practices
oEnsure successful implementation of designed solutions in collaboration with the Project Manager
oDrive technical decisions throughout the full project lifecycle
oPresent to all levels of the organization (staff, management, governance boards)
oWork in close collaboration with application architecture teams of our customers internal as well as external
oAnticipate impact on infrastructure landscape
oDefine solutions taking into account the client's strategy and market best practices
oEnsure successful realization in an agile modus
oCollaborate closely with Business and IT starting at an early stage
oPresent to all levels of the organization (technical staff up to executive)
oWork with external providers and integrators
Profil/ Skills
Requirements:
Multi-year experience as responsible technical architect in projects in an international environment, ideally in the Insurance or Bank
business
oSound knowledge in key technology areas, like
oOperating Systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server 2008)
oVirtualisation (ESX/VMWare, Citrix)
oStorage & Archiving systems (Netapp, Centera, Hitachi SAN)
oDirectories / Authentication (Oracle LDAP, Active Directory, Siteminder)
oDatabases (Oracle, SQL Server)
oNetwork Protocols, Load Balancers, Security Systems (F5, Cisco, Checkpoint)
oWeb-/ Application Services (JBoss, WebLogic, WebSphere, Apache, IIS)
oApplication level security systems (Web Application Firewall, XML-Gateway)
oEnterprise Integration Systems (SAG WebMethods, Informatica, SAS).
oExperience in cloud migrations, integration of cloud services and related technologies & frameworks (OpenStack, Azure, Amazon)
oGood understanding of tools and processes of the software development lifecycle (Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Subversion)
oStrong presentation skills
oGood negotiation skills
oBeing a team player
oExperience with agile project management
oExcellent language skills German, English
