Job Position: IOT Test Engineer
Job Location: Munich, Germany
Duration: 6 months rolling contract
Job Description
You will manage test requirements, execute the tests and support the carriers.
You will conduct the LTE testing including IOT, field test and carrier acceptance test. Analyze and debug issues encountered during testing and work with the development team for proper resolution. Provide technical support to carriers by giving assistance in troubleshooting, analysis and providing detail information to the development team.
Interaction with infrastructure vendors and carriers for interoperability issues might be needed.
Skills/Experience:
- Good understanding of digital communications, RF and telecommunications.
- Strong understanding of LTE (L1-L3) protocol stack.
- Strong understanding of applicable industry standards like 3GPP etc.
- Understanding of wireless carrier requirements and certification test plans.
- Strong understanding of multiple wireless protocols, including IP, TCP, and SIP
- Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless devices.
- Knowledge of GPS would be added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Interoperability Tests against network vendors and operators
- L TE, 3G and 2G project experience
- Project experience with network vendors preferred (Alcatel, Siemens. Ericsson or/and Huawei)
- Previous experience in IOT Testing
