Roc Search is currently recruiting for a WebSphere Portal Architect to work for a client of mine in Berlin, Germany.
PURPOSE
WebSphere Portal Architect will be responsible for architecting, design and development of portal
Solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Gathering requirements, creating the architecture and deployment topology, design of solution and implementation.
*Integration of Portal with other systems.
*To drive the portal implementation through the entire project life cycle
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
*Experience in IBM WebSphere Portal Server, IBM Web Content Manager
*Experience in Design and Development of Portlets
*Experience in Java/Java EE ( Core Java, EJB, Servlets, JSR 286 )
*Experience in Web Services, SOAP, REST protocols
*Experience in Web Frameworks [JSF, Spring, Dojo etc. )
*Demonstrated knowledge of UML
*Experience working with databases DB2, Oracle
*Experience working with LDAP solutions from Tivoli, Microsoft etc.
PREFERABLE
*Certification from Open Architecture Group
*Hands on Experience using TOGAF architecture
