(Senior) BI specialist / Tableau expert with optional ETL/DW knowledge (m/f)For my Hamburg based client I am currently looking for a BI specialist with knowledge and experience using Tableau for complex analytics where ETL preparation of data is required to optimize the data model for the dashboard being implemented.
Hint: English and German fluently spoken and written is mandatory!
Primary tasks and responsibilities:
- Designing dashboards in Tableau Desktop in close partnership with the business.
- Optimizing the data model design for dashboard development / analysis in Tableau
- Partnering with ETL developers for implementation of processes to prepare data for Tableau within the regional DW (Oracle 11g)
- Creating data sources including security configuration.
- Working in a project team
Technical profile requirements:
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role from analysis and design up until testing and implementation
- Oracle 11g experiences is a big plus
- ETL development in Informatica is a big plus
Non-technical profile requirements:
- Accepts personal responsibility for client satisfaction
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Establishes and manages engagement objectives, expectations and quality plan
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Quick learner, motivated self-starter
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
- English and German fluently spoken and written is mandatory
