A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Senior Project Manager, managing and driving a new operational model and process for Exadata along with Operational leads. The project is to install new Exadata devices and migrate all existing Oracle databases to the new Exadata devices (Approx 400 Databases and 150 Applications). Strategic and highly visible project.
Tasks
• Create and manage governance for the project.
• Create detailed project plans using a variety of tools (Project, PPT, Excel etc).
• Create Steering board presentations and present to senior staff both management and technical management.
• Financial tracking and awareness essential.
• Initial phase is for 2015 and it consists of 30% of DB's and applications for internal clients.
• Will be performed with Exadata X4-2, X5-2 and with 11g and 12c software.
Requirements
• Primary technical knowledge.
• Proven experience with Oracle, Exadata and database migrations.
• Experience as a Project Manager in an IT infrastructure discipline.
• Ability to define and execute projects with little supervision and according to a given framework.
• Ability to make and explain decisions.
• Financial Tracking awareness is essential.
• Prince2 or PMP qualification is an advantage.
