Tasks
• Performing all standard production services DBA activities including installation, performance tuning, backup and recovery.
• Microsoft SQL Server Production Database Administration.
• Database installation, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Join a global database team that supports Microsoft SQL Server database products / platforms.
• Strong production support DBA.
• Support for a 24/7 on call rota.
Requirements
• Experience with SQL Server 2005/8 exposure to 2012 preferable.
• Clustering, replication, Database mirroring and Log shipping skills.
• Microsoft Windows 2003/8.
• Extensive SQL tuning skills.
• Understanding of Microsoft active directory architecture.
• Extensive MS Business Intelligence suite know how.
• Understanding of backup and recovery solution including lightspeed.
• Full understanding of RFS, Incident and Change Management service delivery principles of ITIL.
• Commercial experience in a production and global financial organisation.
• MCP and other MS certifications desired.
• Fluent English is a must and German is beneficial.

• Pro-active and strong communicator.
• Be able to prioritise your own workload and work with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
