We are currently seeking for a client.The candidate must be able to demonstrate good technical skill in the following areas:
Experience:
- Customer facing Project/Program management skills at a senior level
- Working within the bid phase to define baseline plan/approach/resource costing
- Background in infrastructure transition/migration projects (e,g. Servers, Storage, Security, Networking)
- Basic level knowledge of common hosting technology and applications (Preferably Apache/Tomcat/Oracle/SAP)
- Native level German and good level English language (written and spoken)
Role: Senior Project Manager
- The project relates to migrating an automotive manufacturers line of business applications and infrastructure from an existing locations in EU to a managed service at our Client
- Initially supporting the RFP phase (until May), the consultant will be required to work within a bid team consisting of commercial and technical staff, mixture of German and English speaking
- Assist in the review and analysis of requirements in a complex RFP structure
- Work with technical teams to define an approach to platform deployment and service migration
- Create a baseline project plan, resource plan and RFP content
- Attend workshops with the customer, partner and bid team to investigate, devise and present project approach and plan
- Assist in the management of the overall bid team deliverables alongside the commercial team
- Depending on the outcome of the bid phase the consultant may also be asked to continue into the delivery phase.
- The consultant would be ideally based in Frankfurt (internal office) with travel to meetings in Munich (Partner office) and Wolfsburg (customers office). It may be possible for the candidate to be based in Munich, but this would require travel to Frankfurt for internal meetings
Term:
- Start immediate
- Initial 3 months on 4 weeks notice
- Potential for extension into project phase
