for a Senior Software Integration Engineer (f/m)

Project environment: A global Swiss Bank.

Tasks

• Integrate the vendor based product seamlessly into the bank's rather complex IT infrastructure.
• Implement automation capabilities to support automated installations and upgrades.
• Work with an agile team of senior software engineers.
• Translate business requirements (functional and non-functional) into IT specifications and architectural designs.
• Manage the solution hardware inventory.
• Work closely with IT architects and other IT development teams within the organization to design solid application interfaces.
• Coordinate the software development and testing with external vendors, acting as a key contact for any questions or issues which may arise.
• Quality check the vendor deliverables, including test case creation, test case review, design review, code review, test execution etc.
• Support the Quality Assurance / Test cycles.

Requirements

• A successful track record of vendor based software integration projects.
• Proven expert knowledge of vendor software packaging for UNIX and Linux type OS.
• Proven expert knowledge of automating distributed installations using industry standard tools.
• Proven expert knowledge of key enterprise integration requirements (security, automation, segregation of duties, monitoring etc.).
• Experience in technical vendor management (issue handling, collaborative solution elaboration, patch / test cycles handling).
• Thorough understanding of software development, configuration management, source code management and software release processes.
• Experience with Agile development methodology and tools.
• Experience with Actimize Software would be a big plus.
• Business knowledge in the area of Anti Money Laundering would be a big plus.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with close attention to detail.
• A self-starter who is highly pro-active, committed, reliable and responsive.
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
