For our client we are looking for a freelancer with profound knowledge in Python Application Developement for Nürnberg.start: 15.11.2018

location: Nürnberg, 1 day per week remote
project:
Automation: Build an automated way of providing quality-at-source on raw and harmonized data and thereby relieve the current market-data quality control from too many manual corrections and inappropriate measures for enhancing quality.Tasks:
- Setting up a Minimal Viable Product within 3 months to prove that the approach of
applying Machine Learning/AI methods to the current value chain is working - Application of modern data engineering and machine learning methods
- Responsible for the data connectivity of internal and external applications
- Backend development with Python
- Provisioning of new services/microservices
- Writing unit tests and automated integration tests
- Agile delivery model
- Strong knowledge in Python application development
- experience with RESTful APIs
- Strong knowledge in microservice architectures including orchestration and
containerization with Docker or Nomad
Knowledge in Git, Bamboo, unit and integration testing - Solid knowledge in configuration management tools like Ansible
- Solid knowledge in Relational Databases is a pro
- Solid knowledge in building distributed systems
- Measuring code quality and code analysis tools in Python is a pro
- Good communication skills in English and/or German
