Role: Quintiq Specialist
Location: Germany - Frankfurt or Munich/Netherlands - Den Bosch
Job Details:
Learn Quill the programming language of the Quintiq software.
Learn about Quintiq software and the design principles it follows.
Document the technical solution of the project for future transparency.
Implement world class solutions for challenging customer puzzles.
Support customers throughout the project in both technical and functional aspects.
Take ownership of the solution you developed, and be responsible for overseeing the project at different stages.
Be a vital part of the core Quintiq team
Troubleshoot problems for customers and team members
Professional Skill Requirements:
Candidate must have 3 to 5 years of professional software development experience, with implementation of Object Oriented concepts in day-to-day professional life.
Experience with object-oriented modelling (E-R diagrams) and programming languages such as Java, C++,C#, VB.NET
Effective communication skills -both written and verbal, especially in a challenging environment.
Knack to solve complex real world advanced planning and scheduling
Excellent team player and result-oriented attitude.
High analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of Quintiq and the Quill programming language is considered a plus.
Fluency in English. In addition, knowledge of other foreign languages is considered a plus.
Knowledge of optimization techniques in operations research and artificial intelligence (linear programming, genetic algorithms, heuristic search techniques, constraint programming, etc.) is considered a plus
Sound judgment in data representation (XML, JSON)
Affinity with databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and interface technologies (eg, SOAP, MQ, JMS, ODBC) is a plus
