For one of our clients we are looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer:Project Description:
The Cloud Management Center (CMC) Team is looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer/Developer who can support CMC Automation Lead developing, testing and documenting automations for specific cloud provisioning and management tasks with C# via the Azure RestAPI as well as with Powershell scripts & ARM Templates. The automation includes, among others:
• IaaS Compute Resource Deployment & Post Deployment activities as well as selected PaaS resources
• Database and database server lifecycle actions (IaaS based)
• Networking, Security and IAM
Task Description:
• Develop Automation for specific cloud provisioning and Azure cloud management tasks with C#, Azure RestAPI, Powershell & ARM Templates
• Test & document the automation solution
• Resolving automation related incidents
Required Skills
• Very good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience developing ASP.Net Core (C#) applications to interact with the Azure Rest API & Microsoft Graph API
• Hands on experience automating with Azure Automation (scripting language: Powershell)
• Hands on experience with bash scripts Cloud
• Troubleshooting skills
• Basic experience working with SQL PaaS
• Basic understanding of Azure Networking
• Hands on experience in PowerShell and bash scripts
• Very good understanding of Azure Services Ideally: Experience working within or closely to Development Operations (DevOps)
• Experience working with a CM product such as Puppet, Chef, DSC, etc
• Experience developing ARM templates
• Familiar with Azure Blueprints Familiar with Azure Devops (VSTS)
