Role
Senior IT Project Manager with cloud and architecture background to provide project management and architecture service for a on-premise Microsoft CRM solution move to cloud as part of „CUSTOMER“ on going cloud adoption program.
The candidate will be responsible for IT stakeholder management, planning, and steering of the development team according to „CUSTOMER“ software development methodology.
This position will have a strong focus on technical design and architectural knowledge of cloud migration, organizational cloud readiness, Microsoft and cloud infrastructure services. The candidate must possess an expert knowledge of cloud technologies and architectures.
Description
Senior IT Project Manager to provide project management and architecture services for hybrid cloud adoption within existing infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
Project stakeholder management, planning, and steering of the development team set up in an offshore and matrix organization
Coordinate and contribute to conception of the cloud migration strategy and creation of the migration blueprint
Steering the development teams according to an agile and continuous software delivery process model
Plan and coordinate the changes required in on-premise cloud-integrated applications after cloud move
Steering the lower environments and Go-Live control, configuration and change management, coordinating the implementation of CRs, and meetings with Key Stakeholders
Coordinating the implementation of digital infrastructure simplification changes for „CUSTOMER“ cloud readiness solution in existing Active Directory infrastructure.
Steer the deployment of enterprise-scale, secure, and complex infrastructure solutions for various use cases (on premise and cloud)
Establishing appropriate planning and control mechanisms to produce, maintain and align project and resource plans and monitoring performance against plans.
Reporting project specific information to various stakeholders.
Effective communication to all people involved during the project execution and ensuring they are all fully aware of any changes either to objectives and/or timescales to deliver their role and commitment to the project.
Managing and coordinating the contribution of third parties vendor engaged in project work.
Defining and documenting new target cloud operating process model for secure and efficient operations and making sure documentations is in place and maintained in accordance with the „CUSTOMER“ Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) on the project
Create and maintain system technical, project management and architecture documentation including technical and troubleshooting documents.
Qualifications
Minimum 12 years overall IT experience with 6 years of experience as project manager and architect focused on cloud migration and cloud architect experience.
Required qualification
Expert knowledge of project management, cloud migration, organizational cloud readiness and federations services
Advanced knowledge of cloud architecture topics
Steering the secure cloud solutions as per current industry best practices
Intermediate Knowledge: Good understanding of access management, federated identity, and multi-factor solutions; Infrastructure fundamental
Experience working with enterprise customers and a global team environment.
CUSTOMER experience preferred
Ability to be self-sufficient, pay strict attention to detail, and display a drive to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.
Good understanding of ITIL/Service Management.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
Excellent command of the English and Germany language; Must be an expert in both oral and in written
