For one of our clients we are looking for a COBOL Developer

Key Accountabilities
• Design, Implementation and Unit testing of requirements

Job Requirements
• Design, configuration, implementation, development, maintenance and problem resolution of standard / specific customized customer specific applications
• Software development, prototyping, deployment and support testing phases
• Debugging techniques including error log reviews, error coding standards, root cause identification and problem closure
• Perform code reviews, create automated unit tests, DML scripts for the modules owned etc.

Key Competencies
• Good knowledge of Mainframes, COBOL, JCL, OPC
• Experience with complex software systems
• Knowledge of software architecture and design
• Good analytical skills
• Communication skills, team spirit, personal responsibility
• Experience with agile methods
