Job Position: Scala (Backend) Developer
Location: Essen, Germany (some remote working can be offered)
Start Date: ASAP
Type: Contract (6 months - with scope to extend)
Rate: €75-€85 an hour
Montash have been engaged with a global enterprise based in Essen, who are seeking an experienced Scala (Backend) Developer with experience building scalable web applications. You will be working on high value use digital products using a modern tech stack within an agile/scrum environment.
Due to the location of this project, please only apply if you are eligible to work in Germany in a freelance capacity.
Required:
- 3-5 years Scala development experience
- Use of modern technologies; ability to be versatile
- Experience building scalable web applications
- Proven experience working Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Fluent English
Desirable:
- Cloud knowledge; Azure or AWS/Amazon Web Services
- Continuous Integration experience
- Big data/Machine Learning/Kafka knowledge
Some remote working can be offered
