Technical Solution Architect with expertise in ElasticSearch and AWS along with experience of eCommerce and NoSQL databases sought for a major global player in the eCommerce sector.
Our client has a world-class B2B eCommerce platform which uses best-in-class technology such as AWS and Salesforce. They are now looking to revamp the platform's Search and Recommendation Engine using ElasticSearch and they therefore require an Technical Solutions Architect with a track-record of architecting and designing ElasticSearch functionality in an eCommerce setting. Also relevant to the target architecture are AWS, Kubernetes and NoSQL databases so exposure to these technologies are essential. The platform will also include application development functionality in JavaScript (React/Redux) and Java and you will collaborate heavily with an existing development team, however it we do not expect the architect to have hands-on programming experience.
This role will require you onsite in Germany at least 60% of the time (ie 3 days per week onsite) with the remainder of the assignment conducted remotely from home. This is an English-speaking project therefore fluency in English is essential. Interviews slots are available from and we require a start date of latest.
Requirements
- Technical Solutions Architect with a track-record in implementing ElasticSearch in an eCommerce setting (ideally B2B eCommerce)
- Expertise in translating business requirements into a technical solution.
- Good experience with AWS, Kubernetes and NoSQL databases. Agile experience (Scrum and Kanban). Fluency in English.
- Deep understanding of the development life cycle, collaborating with and leading development teams. Exposure to Java and JavaScript preferred.
