Dear all,we are urgently seeking for a Test Engineer (m/f) to support our client during a Data Migration.
Tasks:
• Ensure that software is built in a way which is consistent - and exploits the collective frameworks, patterns and practices that exist across the wider Engineering community
• Plan, design and execute tests across multiple systems (incremental and regression testing) related to Data Migration
• Conduct end-to-end data migration testing against functional criteria in agile and waterfall environments
• Define the test strategies for software and data solutions of industry best practices
• Support planning of all testing and validation activities according to software requirements documentation and software release plans
• Create, maintain, monitor and run test plans and test cases
• Report on the status of the full team’s testing activities
• Mentor, providing clear and constructive feedback and creating opportunities for learning and growth
Requirements:
• Effective test design, test planning, documentation and scheduling skills
• Knowledge of test (automation) tools e.g. Tricentis Tosca, Jira, Confluence, or other Test automation tools
• Experience of Business/Scenario based validations
• Experience of testing systems from existing and functional specifications
• Background in financial area and/or payment card industry
• Experience with database programming language SQL and one or more scripting languages
• Experience on databases e.g. Oracle, VSAM, DB2, MS SQL Server
• Experience at least on one of the following areas (Big Data, CRM, SAP Financial Services, Card Processing)
Requirements (must have):
• Proven experience with large-scale Data Migration test projects, from planning to execution
• Knowledge of ETL-Tools (for our Data Migration Project, “SAP Data Services (SAP Data Integrator)” and “Ataccama” are used)
• Extensive experience in test and quality methods (e.g. ISTQB certification)
• Fluent English (CEFR level B2 or better); fluent German is an advantage
