For our client, a trusted leader in market research present in over 100 countries, we are looking for the area Nuremberg for a BACKEND DEVELOPER (m/f) initially until 31.12.2018 with option of extension.
Scope of Project:
Our client is running a large data processing system to obtain market research insights from Point of Sales (POS) data provided by retailers. An important first step to process this data is to match the retailers' descriptions of sold items to the way such items are described in the client's master data set (Matching) or to create a new record in the master data set for so far unknown items (Coding).
The goal of the initiative is to automate both Coding and Matching as much as possible. Coding automation includes the generation of propsals to accellerate the manual coding process. With their new "Smart Coding Workbench" the client expand the already existing "Coding Workbench" with features to help users working with such proposals in the most efficient and smart way. For the Smart Coding Workbench team we are looking for a BACKEND DEVELOPER (m/f).
Aufgaben:
- Development of new Smart Services for the Coding Workbench
- Integration of Services in the existing system
- Optimization of existing Services
- Strong experience with .NET, C#
- Preferably Experience with AWS, Python nice to have
- Experience with Elastic Search
- Advantage would be knowledge about JavaScript web development frameworks
(preferably ember.js)
