For our client in Munich we are looking for an experienced C# Developer - IMAGO - Enrolment/Issuance Systems (m/f).Summary:
• Reporting to the technical manager in projects resp. development manager, the software engineer develops IMAGO applications by designing, developing, testing and installing the software solutions in customer projects or as clients product solution.
• Supports the implementation / testing activities and be accountable for all software deployment & improvement initiatives for a product area.
• Focuses also on cross-application solutions to implement best practices on development and project implementation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Development and implementation of SW components, tools, demonstrators and applications for an internationally used product (IMAGO)
• Gathering user requirements, creating Specifications, defining system functionality and writing code in C# and .NET
• Build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
• Development of C # modules for C ++ and COM interop
• Development of C # WPF GUI applications
• Development and maintenance of Java Web applications with web service access
• Development for dynamic reporting
• Development of a vendor-independent, reusable database access layer
• Development of a Windows service for generic data synchronization Implementation of external specifications and standards, e.g. ICAO, ISO, ABIS connections
• Creation of development-accompanying tests and support for test automation and load tests
• Creation of development documentation
• Support of international customer projects
• Database administration, setup and setup as well as backup strategies for customer projects
• Migration / maintenance of database-supported functionalities, outsourcing in C # components Especially in the areas of workflow engine, logging, concurrency control
Requirements and qualifications:
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
• Proven work experience as a Software Engineer or Software Developer
• Experience designing interactive applications
• Expertise in software development with C# and .NET; other programming languages possibly
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases and SQL
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (To be defined)
• Experience with test-driven development
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Ability to document requirements and specifications
• Good written, interpersonal and verbal communication skills in German and English
