Projektstart: 1. September / oder in Absprache mit dem Freelancer
Projektdauer: 10 Monate / Vollzeit


Objectives:

- to gain a thorough understanding of the program, its current structure/governance, team dynamics, challenges as well as the risks and propose a plan of action for the follow-up period
- to take over management of the overall program and ensure the workplan is executed by each work package and overall
- to support negotiations with client and reach with him a realistic agreement both in terms of system specifications and in terms of schedule

Main tasks:

Take over the leadership of:
- Overall program management,
- Management of interfaces;
- Program reporting and reviews: their preparation, ensure the necessary decisions are taken, raise the necessary pending issues
- Risk management and program planning: make sure regular updates of the program’s operational situation are performed.
- Provide coaching and training to work package managers, as necessary
- Participate in client negotiations with you and your teams
- Program baseline redefinition. This new baseline must be based on the fully negotiated requirements with the BAAINBw. Also, these requirements must be signed off by the BAAIN Bwand the mutual understanding must between BAAINBw and our customer must be clear.
- Action plan and schedule according to new baseline

Qualification:

- Senior Project Manager
- Knowledge on the fully negotiated requirements with BAAINBw desirable, no criterion if not available
- PMP certified
- German nationality
- Experience with German Defence Customer, preferably in IT and/or simulator projects
- Good understanding of German Forces Procurement law
