PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Mission of the Industry Business Units are to run, grow, connect and transform in a digital world. The Industry Business Unit Retail (IBU) enables SAP to be a leading catalyst and operator of industry networks and is the preferred destination for people who aspire to re-imagine industries.
Our role is to help retailers in the fast-moving, global marketplace to better innovate, compete, and stay relevant. This includes research on strategy, market trends, and competition.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
We are looking for:
a motivated and curious student who wants to support our Global Strategic Communications and Social Media Team. You shouldn't be afraid to take up responsibility to solve a task independently and also be able to integrate into an international team.
. Orchestration and editing of different SAP activities about social media channels (Twitter, Blogging, Facebook, LinkedIn & YouTube)
. Development and support of new and creative social media concepts
. Web Design and Media Production (Podcast and Videos)
. Active role to create and support the internal retail newsletter
. As needed further involvement in IBU activities

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Education and Qualification:
. Currently a student of a university or university of applied sciences (FH) with focus on Social Media and Web Design, Computer and Communication, Business Informatics, Media Design or Media Informatics
. Social Media skills in Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn & YouTube
. Experience in Blogging and with new collaboration tools like slack.
. Experience in User Interface and Media Design
. Preparation of presentations and concepts
. Experience with MS Office like Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
. Basic HTML knowledge resp. current Web programming languages as required
. First experiences with SAP internal systems would be desirable
. Experience with market research and analysis of trends
. Languages: German and English fluently

Skills and Competencies:
. As a student in the IBU Retail we expect enthusiasm and passion for all tasks around media
. Talent for media design
. Creativity, motivation as well as structured work
. Responsibility and openness to drive topics, open-minded and result-oriented person
. Analytical skills and the ability to work conceptually
. Teamwork, communication skills and willingness to learn
. Reliability, accuracy & flexibility
. Business basis basics, especially in Retail would be appreciated
