DevOps Engineer
Munich
6 month Contract
Languages: a good understanding of German & English
we are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to start a large project based in Munich.
This role is an initial 6 month project working within a financial sector.
Responsibilities:
- Be accountable for reliable and stable operations including feature roll-outs
- Analyse new infrastructure technologies and their practical benefits
- Enable internal and external stakeholders to get insights into service performance
- Manage changes to infrastructure and migrations
- Optimize best in class setup to fit our growth
Requirements:
- Good CI/CD knowledge and experience
- You have Linux System Administration skills, experience with Ubuntu, RedHat
- You have good knowledge of deployment automation tools and data
- You have experience with configuration management (Puppet, Ansible, etc)
- You are experienced in Kubernetes and Terraform
- analysis/monitoring tools (Prometheus, ElasticSearch)
- Having worked with Docker, AWS is a plus
- Having worked with Kafka is a plus
- You have experience in managing an application's growth and overall scaling
- You are self-organized and are able to prioritize your tasks independently
