Senior PHP Software Engineer/Senior PHP Developer - TDD - OOP - Berlin
My client is urgently seeking an experienced Freelance Senior PHP Software Engineer to join an project team at their offices in the heart of Berlin.
The successful PHP developer will need a background application development working in lean, agile teams. The ideal PHP Software Engineer will have expert level PHP & MySQL experience and ideally have experience of test driven development/TDD and Strong Object Oriented Programming/OOP.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of PHP and MySQL Development
- Demonstrable experience of development of high-traffic web applications
- Strong Object Oriented programming (OOP), domain driven design (DDD) and standard design patterns
- Passion for test-driven code/TDD and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism
- Curious to work with and learn new technologies
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines is a plus
- Team player, agile mindset
- Comfortable with Gitlab/Github
- Good verbal and written English skills
Highly desirable Skills:
- Experience/knowledge of AWS, Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience/knowledge of Java and Python is a plus
