For our client, a global IT software company we are looking for a Marketing Specialist on a freelance basis for MUNICH.

Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 6 Months (up to 1 year project)
Location: Munich
Languages: German and English

Responsibilities :
• Devise marketing strategy to meet pipeline contribution targets and align with global marketing objectives.
• Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales.
• Set direction and manage performance of the German telesales team to support the pipeline contribution both inbound and outbound service.
• Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post event strategy to increase engagement and response rates.
• Forecast, measure, analyse, optimize and report on impact of programs.
• Proactively engage with the direct and indirect sales teams to coordinate, communicate, and optimize the impact of marketing activities.
• Evaluate, select and manage vendors that contribute to local demand creation programs including events venues and services, digital marketing agencies, direct mail providers, SEO experts, designers, copywriters and list brokers.
• Develop and implement target account strategy to support account-based selling.
• Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs.
• Target segmentation analysis, budgeting and building business cases for new customer acquisition B-to-b sales cycle and how to identify opportunities
• Work with sales and channel to maximize demand creation, pipeline contribution and sales opportunity acceleration.
• Clearly articulate a market-specific value proposition and tailor it to fit a variety of program requirements
• Knowledge of demand creation performance measurement, including the Sirius Decisions Demand Waterfall Market to a range of b-to-b buyers using a wide variety of offers (e.g. white papers, case studies, webcasts) and delivery mechanisms (email, telephone, direct mail)

Your Skills:
• Marketing Professional with experience working specifically in the IT industry
• Experience executing online/digital campaigns as well as experience working with the channel.
• Familiar with B2B direct and channel marketing metrics (funnel conversion, pipeline, ROI, % contribution to the business, etc.)
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and to work effectively within a matrix organization
• Proven track record in driving strong partner relationship and lead generation programmes
• Fluent German and very good English
• Willingness to travel regularly ca. twice per month in Europe and Germany
