Senior Full Stack Developer Python/Django (m/w), KölnStart: asap/ Duration: 6-12 month/ Location: Köln 2-3 days per week onsite, rest remote/ workload: 80-100%
Short description:
FM is a decision support platform. FM is available in 9 countries around the globe and helps companies to get better yield in more sustainable manner. Based on different input sources like satellite and drone imagery, machinery data, soil maps, weather etc FM can predict crops’ development, disease risks, insect infections and much more.
For pipeline projects to test and evaluate new features we need a full stack developer, who is ready to learn new technologies and new domains in a fast manner and rapidly develop POCs.
Requirements:
• Solid background in python/django and/or R/Shiny
• Experience with designing and developing applications with a focus on data visualization
• Experience with any of VCSs (GIT, Mercurial, SVN)
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Strong verbal and written communications skills in English
• You should also be self-directed, analytical, and work well in an international team environment
• Experience in package creation and curation
• Experience with application deployment processes - CI/CD (TeamCity/Jenkins)
• Experience in AWS (EC2, ELB, S3, CloudFront, Lambda)
• Experience in documentation creation
• Linux CL
• GIT-flow
• Experience with D3.js or other visualization libraries
