Next Ventures are currently looking for a Kubernetes Technical Architect/Lead for a 3-6 month position based in Hessen, Germany.
Job Description:
Ø Strong experience of working with OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible automation, Git
Ø Strong experience of working with DevOps principles, CI/CD, Continuous Deployment Pipelines using Jenkins etc. Well aware of Docker best practices and keeps abreast with latest releases
Ø Experience creating Docker files to create custom images, maintaining Docker images/containers for different technology stack
Ø Strong experience with container orchestration Docker Data Center/Docker enterprise edition/
Kubernetes
Ø Excellent Unix and Shell Scripting knowledge
Ø Well versed with basic networking fundamentals, Cluster Resource management and Cloud deployment AWS/Azure/other cloud platforms, including monitoring systems, logging and security implementation
Experience:
Ø A total 10+ Years of Experience in IT
Ø Minimum 5+ years as an Architect with proven expertise in application containerization management with OpenShift.
Responsibilities
Ø Develop cloud native strategies and solutions for client requirements, leveraging platforms and methodologies such as PaaS/Agile/DevOps etc.
Ø Contribute to developing repeatable solution frameworks/platforms
Ø Aggressively drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.
Ø Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.
Ø Lead projects within architecture. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release features.
Ø Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
Ø Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
Ø Liaise with clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
Ø Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications.
