G&D Server, Software and Services (3S) is a global development and service organization leading the way in developing and operating solutions for securing your mobile future in areas like Mobile Banking, Near Field Communication (NFC), Machine-to-Machine (M2M), Trusted Execution Environment (TEE) in addition to continual innovations to its market leading SIM and Mobile Device Management solution.In the role of QA Software Engineer (m/f), the candidate will be a member of an agile development team which architects, designs, develops, tests, releases, and maintains software products for our Java/Spring micro services platform.
We are looking for an experienced software tester who has worked on both manual testing and test automation.
Areas of Responsibility:
• Designing, developing and refining of automated tests in Ruby or Java.
• Planning, implementation and execution of tests and QA for G&D 3S platforms in the Mobile Payment/Authentication area.
• Extending the existing automated test framework written in Ruby & covering aspects like functional tests, error provocation, performance tests and high-availability tests
• Perform manual testing on Android phones using in-house developed android apps.
• Able to work in a cross functional setting and have ability to communicate both horizontally and vertically about technical issues and solutions.
• Actively contribute to the success of the internationally distributed Scrum project teams
• Should be able to learn and implement new automation framework using latest test tools.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Extensive experience ins software testing with hands on of both manual testing and test automation
• Experience with testing on SOAP, JSON, JWE/JWT and working knowledge on test tools like SOAPUI & Postman
• Experience with test management tools like Enterprise Tester & continuous Build-Tools such as Jenkins
• Basic knowledge Databases like Oracle and version controls software like GIT.
• Knowledge on certificates/cryptography, openssl and keytool is a plus.
• Knowledge on how java applications are deployed to Tomcat
