Task:• Take software products (Windows services and desktop applications including touch-screen) and their new features through the entire lifecycle of analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation and support
• Implement all aspects of software application design – high performance design, coding, caching mechanisms, security, encryption, state management, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, and testing
• Follow good development practices and software development life cycle methodologies throughout product development
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Perform unit and system level testing on applications
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Create user-friendly design and clear navigation for the application graphical user Interface (GUI)
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization of builds and releases
• Participate in configuring development and test environments and tools
Requirements (Must have):
• 5+ years of experience in and comprehensive understanding of the implementation methodologies for the technology being utilized in product development, such as .NET Framework 4 or higher (Lambda Expressions, LINQ, WCF as a plus)
• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Windows desktop applications and services development: Windows Forms, WPF+XAML, MFC, Win32 API
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, various design patterns, fundamental design principles behind a scalable application; proficient experience in C#; good knowledge of its ecosystems and concurrency patterns; writing readable code and reusable libraries
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server 2008 R2 or higher; T-SQL
• Experience with multithreading and performance tuning
• Familiarity with different User Controls for WinForms such as DevExpress or other
• Proficient understanding of code version control tools such as TFS/Git/SVN
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio 2012+ development system
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
Nice to have:
• Experience with localizable UI including non-Unicode and Right-To-Left languages, non-standard date calendars, etc.
• Experience in development and configuration of application reporting function
• Experience in implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Experience in working with Windows Server 2008+, including Active Directory
• Familiarity with build/release software: Windows Installer, MSI, WIX, MSBuild, InstallShield, PowerShell
• Familiarity with requirements management and task/issue tracking tools such as TFS or Jira
• Familiarity with development of GUI supporting touch screen technology
• Familiarity with barcode, RFID technologies
