Skills:Experience in SW development:
? Advanced project experience of object-oriented programming, design patterns, software engineering and distributed architectures according to international compliance standard.
? Solid knowledge of C++11/14, STL, Boost C++ libraries and GDB.
? Comfortable with threading and IPC.
? Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD), experience in Python 3 and its unit test framework
? Experience in using git as a version control system.
? Experience in agile development methodologies and test-driven development (TDD).
? Very good command of written and spoken English and experience in working in multi-cultural environment
Experience in SW testing:
? Proficiency in all testing phases – from unit to acceptance testing
? Extensive knowledge to create, review and maintain test cases using a test automation framework like Radish (Behavior Driven Development)
? Execute test cases, analyze test results, report and track issues, and verify bug fixes
? Hands-on experience in planning and performing exploratory tests
? Good knowledge of the programming languages C, C++ and Python
? Good knowledge of the Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows operating systems
Tasks:
Development of software for a sorting system:
? Implementation of two interfaces to the transfer device and the management software according to interface description
? Implementation of sorting logic including error handling
? Activation of motors and sensors via CAN
? Implementation of an interface to the GUI frontend
? Specific description of the individual work packages is sprint-based.
Review of requirements and specification documentation and deriving test cases from those documents
Prepare and create project-related test documentation
