WA Consultants are recruiting for one of our Tier 1 suppliers in Bochum Germany. This is a contract role but they would also be interested in permanent candidates for the position. This role will start very quickly so applicants can only be processed if they are immediately available or within a week of an offer.
Responsibilities
Analyze the customer and business requirements.
Design the System architecture meeting all the requirements and in alignment with other system components.
Evaluate and document the Module related sub-system architecture and present it to customer and internal stakeholders.
Create SW System requirements and manage the creation of related SW architecture.
Support the Front Office responsible for handling RFIs/RFQs by proposing system and software architectures for different products.
Guide other Functional Owners to achieve a complete functionality of the system.
Collaborate with Multi-Site and Multi-Location teams
Demonstrated Experience
Min. 12 years of experience in SW development (at least few of them on Embedded SW).
Min 6 years of experience in SW design and System architecture work.
Min 5 years of experience in automotive SW development or architecture.
Strong experience in designing for JAVA based architecture.
Understanding of network protocols like MQTT, TCP/IP, HTTP, SOCKS.
Familiar with automotive specific architecture and protocols like CAN, Ethernet.
Exposure to Automotive Telematic Devices as well as JAVA application & related areas.
Good exposure to Enterprise Architect or Rhapsody and experience in designing with either UML or SysML is must.
Knowledge about Classic and Adaptive Autosar is a plus.
Ability to summarize complex technical topics.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in English, German is a big plus
