Our client is currently looking for a SAS Developer (m/f) in Hamburg.
- SAS data analysis to identify purging data. In conjunction with a check of purging restrictions due to ETL processes and data dependencies. Also required are detailed SAS field checks due missing documentation.
- Check and align outcome with local user and developer
- Work out a data purging solution based the analysis, user feedback, legal requirement and IT restrictions
- Alignment with all Stakeholder
- Development of the SAS purging solution
- Comprehensive test and check of the solution to avoid any negative effect on the production environment
- Exceptional SAS Base / SAS Macro / SAS SQL programming skills on Enterprise Guide basis
- Strong statistical skills
- Experience in designing and developing SAS data marts
- Strong experience in data management and data modeling on the SAS-Grid System
- Is able to work independently on all topics of our SAS solution, demonstrated strong self-Initiative and problem solving skills
- Strong experience in the financial services industry and in Financial Reporting (EERP )
- Experience with Data privacy / data purging (Over Retention)
- Strong knowledge of relational Database systems and of a DWH Ecosystems
- ETL and API know how (Teradata, Hadoop and Hive, etc?)
- Data modeling skills for EDWH systems (Star and snowflake schema, Erwin or ER/Studio Data Architect)
Languages German and English, both fluent
