A global Internet giant is looking to hire a BI/Data Engineer ASAP for an onsite position in Berlin. This is helping to ETL large amounts of unstructured data to a storable format in a datawarehouse (Amazon Redshift). The primary bulk of the coding work will be completed in SQL, with a tiny amount of Python. Because Amazon Redshift is the target DWH experience in this is highly desirable although the core of this is being able to utilise SQL to analyse, ETL and structure large amounts of unstructured Big Data.
Any experience of working on Data Quality/Datamodelling with a focus or interest in GDPR regulations is also of big interest to this client.
The client offer flexible working hours and remote working 1-2 days a week. They also offer a professional structured and well documented environment so developers can focus on tasks at hand.
Senior BI/Data Engineer - key skills
- Strong SQL coding experience to ETL, structure large amounts of data
- Amazon Redshift experience - highly desirable
- Data Quality/Datamodelling experience
- GDPR experience - highly desirable
- Experience in Data heavy environments
- Strong communication experience
