Dear all,we are currently looking to support our client in Frankfurt with an experienced Java Developer with expert knowledge in Hadoop & Spark (m/f).
Responsibilities:
- consulting and delivering software engineering work packages related to the specified technology and the current project stage (analysis, software architecture / design, development / configuration, test, release, run / support) in accordance with the relevant software development process and by using the automation tools supporting that process.
- Collect business requirements for data hubs and BI solutions
- Design and implementation of resilient and effective solutions
- Development of implementations based on Hadoop and related products (Solr) of the Hadoop vendor and other vendors
Requirements:
- academic education in computer science or a comparable qualification and several years of project experience in the context of Hadoop and Spark
- As this is an international project, a fluency in English is essential. Nevertheless, knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Since this project relies on a micro-service architecture based on Java and Spring-Boot, knowledge in these areas is another plus
- Ideally, you were able to successfully apply these skills in the financial services sector.
Furthermore we expect very good experiences in:
- Design and build of data hubs
- Ensuring unchangeable data storage
- Design and development of storages for complex event processing
- Stream processing of incoming data feeds
- Improvement or validation of data quality, matching algorithms, data enrichment, metrics and scoring procedures
- Rapid indexing & search on Hadoop
