We are currently looking for a node.js developer in Berlin.Your tasks:
Build a completely fresh micro-service based system, built on Node.js and running on AWS
Using a test-driven approach (on the interfaces) you’ll be implementing dockerized Node.js services that replace API mocks with the real deal
You will work within a small team with one other Node.js dev and one full-stack (Node.js/react) developer, who will focus on a small admin UI frontend
Your qualifications:
Previous experience in implementing REST API driven, Node.js based micro-services
Experience in test-driven development utilizing a modern testing framework (mocha / chai / jest) while knowing when NOT TO utilize TDD
Previous experience in building production systems on AWS
Nice-to-Have:
You’ve setup CI & CD systems before ideally on Jenkins / CircleCI
Bonus points: You’ve worked with Terraform before
Bonus points: You’re a Kubernetes God :)
