Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will work for application development and maintenance with the biggest companies from manufacturing sector (in particular in Auto OEM) in Germany to develop new IT solutions.

Your activities will include:
- To facilitate requirement gathering discussions, conduct workshops, issue clarifications, review documentation, ensure traceability, sign off by all the stakeholders and own the change management to scope in order to define the project requirements (both functional and non-functional).
- Act as first point of escalation and resolution during the project lifecycle.
- Prepare resource plan including people, space, infrastructure and liaison with required groups in order to fulfill project resource requirements.
- Lead the estimation activities, review estimates and communicate to all stakeholders in order to plan for required budget and resources to successfully execute the project.
- Prepare detailed project schedule, baseline the same and manage any changes.
- Identify quality goals and processes, comply with internal quality mandate, plan for training the team and prepare comprehensive quality plan.
- Create Risk Management plan clearly identifying the risks and mitigation plan.
- Perform portfolio analysis, Plan transition and execute transition activities as per plan.
- Schedule, monitor, review and control production support project so as to meet agreed upon SLAs.
- Allocate work, Track the project scope, schedule, quality, resource requirements, financials, risk, SLAs on a periodic basis, take corrective actions and communicate to all stakeholders as per Communication plan.
- Track and comply with all project OEI parameters.
- Build formal and informal customer relationships at the project level by engaging them regularly and be the SPOC to the customer on project related activities, provides regular reports, value articulation, managing expectations, participate in client visits.
- Provide inputs to the organization on Technology needs, process innovation and people engagement in order to transfer individual learning to the organization
- Document and share team learnings from the project, seek information and leverage knowledge from other projects to drive higher efficiency and effectiveness and also to preserve organization knowledge
- Communicate daily regarding project status with appropriate stake holders.
- Provide consultancy to team and participate in business development efforts including proposals, development plans, and presentations, as directed.

Key skills:

- Project planning and tracking
- 3+ years of managerial experience
- 10+ years of experience in JAVA custom based application development (Eclipse, SVN).
- Proficient in JSF, EJB 2.0, Jenkins, AJAX, JQuery, Glassfish, PostgreSQL
- Confer with management or development teams to prioritize needs, identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and resolve conflicts.
- Analyze user needs to determine requirements.
- Excellent communications skills and attention to detail.
